My Journey to Becoming a Certified Health and Wellness Coach
It was a long and winding road for me to become a certified health and wellness coach. But all the experiences I had along the way have equipped me to help and guide others.
My name is Matt. I originally graduated with a degree in pure mathematics and systems analysis. But I ended up working in operational risk management, IT, and organizational security in a pioneering role. My work was incredibly stressful as I had to constantly deal with risk management. And as you might expect, the unexpected happened. I got sick when I was 33 years old.
My symptoms kept getting worse and I spent a lot of money on treatment, but the results were not what I and my doctor had hoped for. Not only did my symptoms not improve, but my doctor also didn't know what was causing my illness and how to treat it. I was simply prescribed medication to relieve my symptoms.
Until one day, I came across and studied various concepts of preventive medicine, body anti-aging, and root cause therapy. These methods didn't involve medication, chemicals, or hospitalization. And most importantly, you didn't need to be a doctor to practice them. So I started studying, attending training courses, and using myself as a guinea pig for preventive medicine.
After getting serious about this approach, I started seeing improvements in myself within 6 months. And it has been getting better and better ever since. Many of my symptoms that could be reversed have been reversed, and my overall health has improved steadily. So I started sharing this approach with my family and close friends.
That's why I decided to further my studies and obtain the Certified Health and Wellness Coach certificate from the National Board of Health and Wellness in America. This is to ensure that all my coaching and guidance for you will be based on professional standards and ethics.
Don't wait until illness and deterioration come to us. What we should do today is to change our lives little by little in a positive direction every day. So that one day, we will be far away from old age and disease.
